Privacy notice

How LandShield handles personal data in the foundation release.

Data we hold

Your name, email address, optional professional details, the organisations you belong to, your role in each, and the client and project records your organisation creates.

Why we hold it

To authenticate you, to place you inside the correct organisation boundary, to enforce role-based permissions, and to maintain an accountable history of who did what.

Organisation boundary

Records belong to the organisation that created them. Access is granted through membership and, where relevant, project membership. Access is enforced by database policies, not only by the interface.

Activity history

Significant actions such as creating a project, changing its status or changing a person's role are recorded. These records are not editable from the application.

Retention

Records are retained while your organisation remains active. Invitations expire automatically and can be revoked at any time by an owner or administrator.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Deletion requests are handled subject to your organisation's own record-keeping obligations.

Privacy requests

Write to us for access, correction or deletion requests, consent and privacy questions, or a data-protection complaint.
